it is free and the art is fairly recent so it is a good quick stop if you enjoy new art

worked here in the spring and summer of 2006 while in Americorps*NCCC. it was intense but so rewarding and there are so many nice people.

while serving in Americorps*NCCC i was able to work at Tohaali Elementry School in Toadlina, NM. it was the most amazing experiance and i wish i could go back and live with the people we met there. so much wisdom and history in that land.

the poetry slam was one of my favorite things about being in Denver durning Americorps. so much talent in one night

saw Mutemath here. such a great venue with an oldtime feel.

saw string cheese here the summer of 06.

climbing over the fence and hiking up the hill be hind red rocks is a great way to do it too.

i love the books on the tables that you can write in. i could spend all night reading them

fun place to walk around if visiting but not super interesting after you have been in town for a while

so large and wonderful! the top floor is the best with all the rare books.

i stayed with a guy who works at voodoo when i visted portland. i think everyone should eat their doughnuts. especially delicious when they are fresh out of the fryer or when you are fairly drunk…
