Just come back from a three day trip to Budapest (it only cost about £50 for the flights and b&b accomodation total per person!) and wow what a city. Never eat such high quality cooked to perfection food in my life (really cheap too) recommend the ‘Marquiz de Salad’ and ‘Alcratraz’ this bar/restraunt also includes free entertainment (proper 50’s rock and roll on the night we were there) Also recommend the outdoor naturally heated swimming pools, you will not want to leave (costs about £10 entry but worth every penny). Impressive museums, statues, castle and galleries, but other than ‘the house of terror’ about the torture of the people by Facists and then Communists, I couldnt get dragged away from the heated pools :) 10/10

Wow, just come back from a few days in Gothenburg. It was warmer and sunnier than both Liverpool and London, and I fell in love with the place. The air was cleaner, the people friendlier, the lakes and forest just outside were breathtaking. The beutiful islands where cars are not allowed and people travel by petrol driven tricycles were amazing, The trams ran on time to the second. The girls were stunning and the beer wasn’t as expensive as I was led to believe. Of all the places I have been in my life this is where I would like to live. (My friends who live there said it gets colder in the winter though and work is hard to find).

I am going there in a few weeks to see some friends, any tips on what to see or do?
