I found the “true” Paris I had been searching for in this area! Steep, narrow winding streets, cafes, cabarets etc… fascinating!

Compared with the rest of Budapest, I found this place a little boring. If you are looking for a nice park to sit in, then you’ve found it. However, you can find parks everywhere.

I was in Vienna April 2008 and absolutely fell in love with the city!
However, Austria has so many beautiful places to see and I do plan to go back!

Funny, you either love it, or you hate it.
I LOVED Paris! One of my favorite memories is of a night picnic I had with my boyfriend on my birthday on the Champs du Mars (the grassy public park in front of the tower)in front of Le Tour Eiffel. Tres’ romantique!
Ste. Chapelle is a MUST see. This beautiful gothic catherdral was constructed 1243-48 and contains 40 foot stained glass panels. Truly a work of art!
Norte Dame is equally amazing. Be sure to take the tour that leads you to the top (a climb of approx 300 winding stairs) for stunning views of Paris and the Seine, close up looks at the gargoyles ardorning Notre Dame, and the bell tower.
Monmarte is a charming area of Paris with it’s winding streets leading up to Sacre du Coure with amazing views of Paris (especially at night). The area has many cafes, crepe shops, artists, and is also home to the famous Moulin Rouge.
Be sure to indulge in a cappucino and a freshly baked baguette for breakfast, a crepe and the best sorbet you will ever have! There is no need to spend tons of euros in expensive restaurants. The food in this city is an art! The street and cafe food is just as fantastic, and there are certainly no lack of places to have a picnic.
Off the beaten path are the Paris catacombs. A creepy, yet important part of the city’s history.
Best of all, Le Metro is a quick, inexpensive way to get around the city.

Windsor of course, is home to the famous Windsor Castle. It is definitely worth a side trip from London to see the queen’s favorite residence. The original castle was built by William the Conqueror in the 1070s.
The town’s high street is very quaint with lots of shops, restaurants, and pubs. And as always, the people are unbelievably kind and welcoming.
