The church is in Woolton (South Liverpool) and its where John and Paul from the beatles first met, well the church hall is anyway. If you hunt around in the graveyard you can find a grave with “Eleanor Rigby” on it too – supposedly this is where the song comes from. If you do go looking for it you want “John Rigby’s” grave as it’s mainly his, it just says “Also Eleanor Rigby” – nice.

Its a cool place, pretty cramped but its not so bad in the day. I dont think this is the actual cavern club the beatles played in though – no matter what they tell you!! They filled in the original one years ago, but realised they could make money of it so decided to re-open it. trouble was they couldnt remeber where it was or couldnt use the plot where it was – so they dugg a new one. Its still pretty awesome though, especially when you hear something like “John Lennon could of walked on these very steps…” – could of, but didnt.

Its on the dock road at the moment, but they move it around (i think it went to chester at one point?!).

Presumably this is to allow as many people as possible to try and mount it while drunk. But you cant. its too big.

like you would even want to go to another festival!
