It’s a great place to snowboard, and definately worth visiting. I’m so glad I’m just an hour away from this place! I go up every year even if it’s just to chill out at the lounge in the meadows lodge. Oh yeah, meadows is definately a better place to board than timberline.
over 5 years agoIf you go in the right week of spring… you might get there when the wolf pups are just old enough to start walking.
It was an amazing experience to be waking up every morning at 4-5AM simply to go wolf watching with a spotting scope. Seeing the pups with their mother is amazing. Even ran into a wolf kill. Really one awesome experience.
