This was, by far, the BEST zoo I’ve ever been to!
over 3 years agoI liked it, because it was REAL. It wasn’t touristy or “shiny”. We’re talking dirt-floored houses, chickens in the yard, and my ex-husband’s great-grandmother lived in a house with no electricity or running water! There was even an outhouse! There were neat little street vendors for mixed drinks and food, and the market was SO cool! If you want a taste of authentic Mexican life, this is a great place to start.
