This place is straight out of deliverance. We went there to visit a haunted and abandoned plantation there known as “Mudhouse” on Mudhouse Rd. Let me tell you, everybody there is insane. We met a crazy hick named Fuzzy, got stared at by everybody we passed, got misdirected everywhere by everyone in an effort to confuse us, but eventually we found our way. We’d heard stories about crazy people at Mudhouse beating people up or smashing car windows if they were left alone. We went there and barely crossed the trespassing sign on the old road leading up before a flashlight was bobbing towards us in the distance. A few moments later as we hopped in the car and booked it, another car flew past ours barely missing us, slammed on its brakes while turning around and chased us out of there. We ran to a gas station we stopped at earlier and we found a red pickup following us, they tailed us until we were on the freeway heading away from that godforsaken shit stain on Ohio.

First off, never ask anybody in PA where to ifnd osmething. Every single person will tell you “Down the road and on your left.” They’re all dead wrong, we took some directions of a place “five minutes away” for almost two hours before arriving, and it was on the right. We were heading to Allentown and the only reason I ever found my way around there was because I just so happened to know a local there over the net and had his number. The concert was amazing and PA does offer some fine scenery and some friendly (yet directionally challenged…) people. This is the trip that landed me the love of my life and four traffic tickets in 15 minutes for my lady.

I was a young’n…7 or 8 I want to say and it was absolutely amazing. Jaws was such a fun ride, King Kong scared the crap out of me and the earthquake ride was so real!
