I lived here for four months right after high school ended. I love the Pacific ocean.

I go here every Feb. to record fireworks shows with my husband. It’s a little wierd though—the London Bridge in the middle of the desert with kitschy light houses, a man made lake surrounded by non-native palms and touristy Southern-style river paddle boats . . .

It’s hard to put a worth visiting/not worth visiting tag on a place as impoverished as Tiajuana. It is worth visiting if you are going to help and not to gawk or be a tourist.

I went to visit him in Istanbul. We visited his family’s summer home in the fishing village Ivalik, which was across the way from Lesbos and also stopped in Troy, which was amazing.
