I go here every Feb. to record fireworks shows with my husband. It’s a little wierd though — the London Bridge in the middle of the desert with kitschy light houses, a man made lake surrounded by non-native palms and touristy Southern-style river paddle boats . . .

I went here on a high school mission trip

It’s hard to put a worth visiting/not worth visiting tag on a place as impoverished as Tiajuana. It is worth visiting if you are going to help and not to gawk or be a tourist.
