Okinawa, Ryukyu Islands

Untitled

I was 18 and I spent 3 years in this place. I loved every minute I spent there. I dont have any pics scanned, but I do have lots and lots of pics taken there. I loved driving from the South to the North of the Island and visiting all the various musuems and historic castles. The nightlife? hmmmm i was the king of the nightlife! ;-) Jes kiddin, but I really liked this place and I really learned a lot, I grew up a lot, around the friendly people of Okinawa. I hope to visit again.

Dana Point, Orange County

I love this place... my old home...:-(

Its my old home! I could go on for days how much I love this place, from the concerts in Doheny Beach (Bob Marley Festival) to walking along the beach (Marine Sanctuary) checking out the enclaves. Chillin at the Wind & Sea Restaurant on a Saturday afternoon (dont feed the birds). Or hanging out by the jetty (SEE MY PIC) feeling the mist from the waves crashing into the rocks (they rise about 50ft sometimes) JUSTAWESOME! Cruising down PCH or Crown Valley Pkwy and going from Dana to Salt Creek Beach! This part of the world is a must see, an experience you can lose track of time. Pssst: Use a Convertible! ;-)

Sunny Isles Beach, Florida

Resident of Sunny Isles Beach

I love this place, I drove from Orange County California, landed in Miami, and settled in Sunny Isles Beach. Its a relatively quiet small town located on about 3 miles of the Intracoastal part of North Miami Beach. Very well maintained, close to the Aventura Mall, close to Haulover State Beach. As a getaway from the nightlife in South Beach, the Sunny Isles Pier and beaches are a must visit for any tourist, there you can relax under the Tiki styled Pelican Restaurant and have unlimited views up and down the coastline. I venture to the pier every chance I get to have coffee, a snack, sometimes lunch during workdays to daydream! It has all the amenities of any small town, local restaurants, bars (some open all night), movies, shops etc. This picture was taken while standing on the pier. (I live just across the street from the pier – I rarely have a chance to go to mainland Miami). Feel free to ask any questions about Sunny Isles Beach, I would be happy to help.
