Powell’s City of Books and Stumptown Coffee rock!

We hiked the Emerald Lake Trail, which is off Bear Lake Road. It was a bit crowded, but the views were amazing.

I’ve now been to Portland a few times, and I love it. It has a great, artsy vibe and is very dog friendly. I couldn’t believe how many stores allowed me to bring my dog inside. We enjoyed the food, microbrews, unique shops, and walks along the coast. We also enjoyed exploring Peaks Island, a short ferry ride from Portland.

We did an overnight backpacking trip near Lincoln, NH. The trailhead starts a few miles east of the Lincoln exit off I-93 and the Kancamagus Highway. It was a beautiful hike, with lots of gushing streams. The water was freezing!

The drive along Highway 1 from Muir Woods was amazing!

This place was a zoo. It was like the Disney version of a winery. Not our style. And the wines were nothing to write home about.

We’re going here in June—can’t wait!

I went here for the first time last night. It’s a beautiful building, but I was getting frustrated trying to find a book I needed. The place is like a maze.

I lived here for a few years and loved it. Can’t wait to go back!

Acadia NP is beautiful. If you have a chance, see it!
