To help street children in Cambodia  — 2 years ago

This year I hope to be spending a couple weeks in Cambodia with the FRIENDS organization, helping them get children into educational programmes and asist them in escaping the horrific lives they have suffered on the streets. Kidnapped, sold into slavery, hungry, raped, robbed, beaten… these young souls have seen so much sorrow. I am raising money to go assist the programme in helping them become healthy and safe.

Waiting Excitedly!! Share your experience!!  — 2 years ago

So a friend and I are going to go to Bangkok next Spring. (First we will hit Turkey this fall for her first visit there and my third.)
She works for an international hotel chain, so we will have three nights at a great place for free, but then we will need to find accomodations for the next 6 days of our planned trip that are nice and not too expensive (40-90/night) and has privacy and clean rooms, good plumbing, internet or internet cafe very near.
Also would like recommendations for places to shop/eat/visit, so please share your thoughts, suggestions and ideas with me!!

    Thank you!

    Not worth it!

No thanks....  — 2 years ago

I lived here. I was not built for texas, thats for sure. However, Austin is an awesome city, and should be excluded from the rest of Texas.
