It was great fun going to Nice with my family..even though it was in the middle of a heat-wave.
We rented a cottage in the hills and got the 62 bus down to the Promenade des Anglais.
From there we could either go to the pebbly beach, the main coach station (Gare Routierè) and get a cheap coach to Cannes or Monte Carlo etc
South Shields is a really beautiful seaside town; it is also my home-town and i have loved living in it for years…
The long sandy beach is absolutely gorgeous in the summer and even better at sun-set.
Although we have the quite chilly waters from the North Sea..it really is a great place to swim and even to surf.
