I always had the best luck in San Francisco – always had the great apartment, the very best parking spots imaginable, the best views from the rooftops, the best coffee, the best used book store – I remember feeling like I owned that city. I could hear Pat Benatar in my head singing, “You don’t know these streets the way that I do, I do , I do… You can’t turn it on and off the way that I do, I do, I do.”
