I’ve been here twice now, first visit was several years ago in late September (absolutely gorgeous) and last year in the middle of July (freakin’ hot!!) The most memorable part of my first visit was driving in at night via the 95(?) and coming over the hill and seeing all the monuments glowing in the night sky. It was quite a stunning sight.

Amazing place. Dante’s peak rises over a thousand feet up from the valley floor below, with a huge temperature differential. Lots of amazing landscape around the valley.
