Club IGUANA

Club IGUANA

Club IGUANA was a Dance Club in the mid-1980 that opened in about 1985 in Downtown Santa Barbara, California and where I spent many a Saturday night. It was on State Street, I can’t remember exactly where and even though people there dressed in the typical 1985 “New Wave” style, it always played the best Dance and House music. They always had wild parties on Halloween too.

Marietta

Worth visiting!

A tip I have about this place

Marietta is more than “The Big Chicken.”
It has a charming central square with lots of Antique Shops, but the Police are everywhere, so drive the speed limit, park legally and enjoy the small-town folks.

In Marietta you will also find the Marietta National Cemetery and a sadly neglected Confederate Cemetery of mostly blank grave markers for Confederate soldiers who were almost all unknowns when the were finally buried.

Nice

Worth visiting!

The first time I went to this place

I saw something I never expected, a long line of Hookers on the main beach boulevard! It was all out in the open and nobody was too worried about it either.

I Love France!

Empire State Building

Worth visiting!

The last time I went to this place

My last time to the Empire State Building, I finally got to go up to the 102nd “floor,” though it’s not much of a floor, it’s the top floor of a Zeppelin mooring dock. I always liked the Empire State Building better than the WTC, but I was just beginning to like the old WTC before the attack.

Worth visiting!

Why I recommend this place to visitors

If you only have time for one museum, go to this one. The art you really want to see is almost all here!

I LOVE this sculpture.

Cliffs Of Moher

Worth visiting!

The last time I went to this place

I was 13 when I visited the Cliffs Of Moher, I think this was my favorite place in all of Ireland.

This would be a great place to ask someone to marry you, and if they don’t say yes right away, you can threaten to jump.

If you go to Ireland, they are a must see!

Indiana

Worth visiting!

Great place to grow up, just don't drink the water.

Indiana is a great place to grow up (or raise kids), just don’t trust the water. I recently found that my home town (Elkhart) had 3 EPA Superfund Clean-up sites that the town, the Newspaper (The Elkhart Truth, I kid you not) and the T.V. News never warned us about.

Turns out, Indiana has a LOT of polluted water and toxic waste dumps and LOTS of illegal dumps, just zoom all the way in on Elkhart with Google Maps find a small grove of trees and you’ll see what I mean.

Do yourself a favor, if you’re moving to Indiana, check this link first: http://cfpub.epa.gov/supercpad/cursites/srchsites.cfm

You are welcome.
