Club IGUANA, Santa Barbara

Club IGUANA

Club IGUANA was a Dance Club in the mid-1980 that opened in about 1985 in Downtown Santa Barbara, California and where I spent many a Saturday night. It was on State Street, I can’t remember exactly where and even though people there dressed in the typical 1985 “New Wave” style, it always played the best Dance and House music. They always had wild parties on Halloween too.

Marietta, Georgia

Marrietta has a charming central square and lots of Antique Shops

Marietta is more than “The Big Chicken.”

It has a charming central square with lots of Antique Shops, but the Police are everywhere, so drive the speed limit, park legally and enjoy the small-town folks.

In Marietta you will also find the Marietta National Cemetery and a sadly neglected Confederate Cemetery of mostly blank grave markers for Confederate soldiers who were almost all unknowns when the were finally buried.
