I’ve been here a week or so, and this town is great. It’s just like Pleasantville. I can walk to a movie theater, two grocery stores, library, two banks, two spas, two ice cream shops…no crime, everyone knows everyone. It’s surreal.

40 Watt Club, Athens

fantastic place to see great bands

lots of really good musicians know about the 40-Watt and know how small it is, so the really awesome events aren’t always pimped from every rooftop. Camper Van Beethoven & Cracker did a show there not long ago…I know, right? Like 7 hours straight for that guy…
