Torub

I was in Japan for a cousin’s wedding and my uncle drove me to the top. This is the middle of July and I nearly froze my butt off. But, I couldn’t help feel the sense of awe and majesty of the summit.

I grew up here. I moved to Nashville after Katrina. My life in many ways is better here in Nashville, and in other ways it is not. Now I understand how some of my immigrant friends feel. There is no place like home…

I was born in Japan in the late 60’s. I’ve been back several times. The urban areas are huge and dwarf anything we have here. Go out to the coast and inland to the mountain towns. It’s worth the effort.
