This year was the second time I took my children here for February vacation. It was a perfect getaway. We are from New England and come February we are tired of the cold and snow. The Great Wolf Lodge is a perfect destination for that time of year. No crowds at all and yet great water fun. My kids loved it and are begging to go back next year!
over 3 years agoStayed at the gorgeous Ivy Lodge – one of the smaller Newport “cottages” and was astounded by how beautiful it was. Within walking distance of the Mansions and downtown area. A perfect location and a gorgeous B&B decorated to the max in antiques. You’ll love it.
over 5 years agoI used to work in the Curatorial department when it was still known as The Currier Gallery of Art. It is a wonderful museum and well worth the visit. Make sure to also visit the Zimmerman House – a Frank Lloyd Wright designed house that is owned by the museum.
