The Austin Zoo is worth visiting because it is a rescue zoo. There are no flashy exhibits, and the animal selection is fairly limited, but it is saving animal lives that might otherwise be lost. For that, the zoo is worth visiting even if you’re bored by (gasp!) just admiring the animals without an immersive and interactive multimedia experience.
