Lansdale

Very fond memories

I had family in Lansdale as far back as I can remember up until recently (both worked at North Penn). It’s grown quite a bit since I was a kid.

I’ve seen the Morgan House, which had ties to Daniel Boone’s relatives. I also recall driving past the Hatfield meat plant in neighboring Hatfield. We always had a yearly dinner at the William Penn Inn for a birthday. And, being a kid, “Bustard Road” was worth a few giggles.

Unfortunately, most of my time there I was far too young to remember much….and since family lived there, any attractions were pretty much ignored and unimportant since seeing them was a daily occurrence (ala Hershey Park and Hershey Chocolate, as I grew up local to them so it wasn’t a big deal).

Naples

Worth visiting!

A review of this place: Hot and humid!

If you can stand the heat and humidity of Florida in the summer, it’s a nice little place.

I’ve had family there since 1988 so I guess I’m a bit biased, but the pier has always been fun, the shells on the beach are usually great, Tin City was always amusing, and since I’m used to deer running across the road at home, seeing an alligator crossing the road was simply amazing.
