I drove across the US after graduating high school. One of the places my friend and I camped was in the Tetons. I think the most amazing thing about it was those HUGE mountains- I am an east coast girl who is used to seeing rolling hills or flat landscapes. WOW! I would love to go back and explore this area!

There is a beautiful lake off Rte 940 called Brady’s Lake. The past several years it has undergone some changes- once a haven for fishing, hiking and x-c skiing, it is now looking pretty devastated. The old damn was torn apart and the lake drained to “rebuild”. Meanwhile, the gorgeous road that travels 8 miles into the area was widened to the point of clearcutting! The way this area is being treated is enough to make you cry…I think there will be another housing development someday where this state game land used to be. People should visit here before it dissappears!

A friend of mine lives in Dorset and I have been there twice to visit. I loved the atmosphere of the town, the architecture, the wild sea, the little pubs… and especially our walks along the coastal pathway. I love how everything stops for tea in the afternoon. I want to go back and explore more of the little coastal towns, drinking all that great ale along the way!
