I went to The Great Wall of China in 2002 with the ‘Little Belgian’ and ‘Lalake’. Everytime I think of this place, I think of the great people who built it and the mammoth of a job they did is awesome! It’s an ultimate experience and one to remember!

This place is not only magical, it’s superb! I have been there with my family and we had a marvelous time. You need at least a minimum of 2 days to cover and enjoy everything. One of the places I could not forget was when we went to the ‘Haunted Mansion’. It was scary, yet fun! Anyhow, if you intend to go to Tokyo, Tokyo Disneyland is a must see. This theme park is not only for young ones, but for the young once too! Enjoy!

We stayed at Plantation Island Resort in 2000. There were about 120 people at the time. We felt that we hired the whole island almost to oursleves as we never saw the other families or the rest of the hundred people except over dinner or breakfast. The entire island is probably 7 kms long and everyone’s doing their own activities somewhwere. The water is so blue yet when you stand and look down you’ll see all the beautiful coloured fish hover around you. The sand was powder white and the coconut trees were everywhere. Aaahh, it was just so relaxing. There’s so much to do if you’re into activities otherwise go for a massage, hair braid or manicure/pedicure before your romantic dinner under the stars.

If you’re visiting Melbourne end of October to 1st week of November, here’s an event I recommend if you love mixing all these in one go: dressing up in your finest, drink, dine, socialise and mix with the friendly locals, celebrities and royals from around the world, this is the place to do it all for 2 weeks! You will see people all over the streets of Melbourne dressed up beautifully and all heading to Flemington Race Course!

I always talk about it and dream of going there after seeing nothing but amazing photos of in ‘The Great Outdoors’. I booked a trip for the whole family in 2000 and we went to Fiji instead and it was a fantastic and unforgetable country too and I said we will return to Fiji. 2 years later the next family trip was in Japan – FIFA World Cup and China! Well next year, my dream will be fulfilled, we are going to Cook Islands!!! Yaaay!

I was in Vigan with my daughter Ingrid, sister Via and friend Bebe in January 2007. This town is an old Spanish bastion and listed in UNESCO World Heritage list. The architecture shows European and Asian fusion in building design, materials and planning.

Glorietta is a place to dine and shop. Designer shops abound from the local to international names such as Gucci, Burberry, Prada etc. There are hundreds of restaurants to satiate everyone’s discerning taste. Just go for a wander around!
