I never understood why we had to fly over the top of the world to get back home, when it seemed much quicker to fly directly back to the UK. I did that trip so many times. It became a tradition to look for the big polar bear in the glass case. If I pass through Anchorage again, I’d look for that poor old bear…

I think I will stay a little longer next time…

I fell down the steps at Raffles Hotel after a couple of Singapore Slings… I held my first monkey here and I rode an elephant…

Went there as an undergraduate by ferry, can’t remember much though…

Home sweet home…

One of my best favourite places in the States… I loved it. I want to go back.

What a combination! I looked for the liberty bell, but I didn’t find it although I did run up the Rocky steps!

Passed through, I didn’t stop!

Also a lovely state, didn’t stay long enough unfortunately.
