Worth visiting!

Charming...

I lived here for a year and my husband is orginally from the area. It’s got alotta culture and heart for a small little town, it’s set right along the Lake Superior coast and has some fantastic beaches right outside of town. If you come in the warmer months be sure to check out Presque-Isle. There is a fantastic little art gallery there with some truley gifted artists.

It's smaller but charming

I didn’t go during the Garlic Festival but my husband and I did have a short kind of Honeymoon here. It was a cute area with alot of good shopping!

Chicago

Worth visiting!

Was too short...

I was only there for two days, and was deffinately not enough time. I did get to see Navy Pier, the Shed Acquarium, The Art Institute and Tori Amos in Concert. Chicago is a beautiful city, and one that I deffinately want to go back to to explore further one day!

Will be home soon...

I had the pleasure of visiting Monterey back in September before my husband joined the military. Now he’s enlisted and stationed there. I have been waiting for the past two months to get word on when I can move out there to join him. I can’t wait until I can permantly call this place home.

It’s a beautiful little town right on the water. It has a world class Acquarium there, and so much art and culture. The cost of living is high, but I think it’ll be worth it to experiance such a fun little area like this. Salinas, Big Sur, Pebble Beach, Pacific Grove, and Carmel by the sea.
