Boston

I’m going to be visiting Boston in February, the first time I ever visit the USA, and I’m really excited, from what I’ve read and seen in photos, this seems like a beautiful city with a rich culture and history :-)

Roma

Worth visiting!

A review of this place

Rome is a lovely city, a perfect place to visit for married couples and for people interested in history & culture :) Never-ending historical sites, beautiful roads, nice weather, nice shops, a city definately worth visiting

The only somewhat negative point I found was that many people in Rome generally weren’t too friendly or helpful…Maybe I happened to meet a group of unpleasant people unfortunately, but that left a negative impression

Nevertheless,worth visiting

A review of this place

I study in this city :)
It’s a very conservative and traditional city, it could be somewhat boring if you are still new to the city, and in the summer can be as hot as oven but it has an old atmosphere to it, which is sometimes quite nice :)

Not bad :)

Damascus

(in Syria)

Worth visiting!

The first time I went to this place

Damascus is a beautiful city, oozing with history, religion and culture; people are very friendly (especially when they know you’re Lebanese ;) ) and walking around the streets of Damascus to see people and its old buildings, especially at night, is a very nice experience; I would love to visit Damascus again one day!

Worth visiting!

Beirut

(in Lebanon)

Worth visiting!

A review of this place: Li Beirut min qalbi salamon

Beirut,my homeland’s capital; I think only a minority would dislike this city :-)

Beirut has a special, eternal touch to it, no matter how difficult things get, it always attracts you back :) Beirut and its people are truly an incredible, always rising and continuing life normally..When in Beirut, don’t only visit the Downtown, but also the normal, less glamourous areas to see the real, normal, beautiful side of the city like in Rawche, Ein el Mreisse,Ramle el Baida,Hamra,Dahieh, and etc :) People are extremely friendly and warm and welcoming to visitors, the streets are always buzzing with life, Beirut is especially beautiful at night when all the lights are shining throughout the city :)

Absolutely worth visiting and staying in forever heheh ;)

Wien

(in Austria)

Worth visiting!

A review of this place

Vienna is a lovely city; when you are in Vienna, you can feel the rich historical & cultural side of the city; it’s an extremely clean and organized city, somewhat quiet, and has beautiful areas like the Schönbrunn and the Stephansplatz

Unfortunately I didn’t get to know the city well because I was there for only 3 days, but I liked Vienna alot, it’s so mysterious and makes you want to discover it more and more, the people are nice though they may appear a bit distant at first, their language is very fascinating, and you even get to meet amusing people, like I ran into a man on the street who was sitting on a hand-made couch and began lecturing me on how drugs should be legalized hehe :)

Worth visiting!

Paris

Worth visiting!

A review of this place: Paris can steal anyone's heart ;-)

I went to Paris in July 2008,and I only stayed there for 3 days, but I felt so attached and in love with it, as if I’ve been in Paris for years :-) The streets are lively and full of people laughing, talking, sitting in cafes; the buildings are so clean and beautiful, people are generally very friendly, the metro is organized, the diversity of Paris’ population is wonderful when you see White Frenchmen,Black Frenchmen,Arab Frenchmen,Asian Frenchman..etc and the city gives out a warm feeling that makes you feel at home :)

I loved to see the famous spots in Paris (the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre museum, Concorde..etc) but I was just completely mesmerized by the city itself (the roads, the inner neighbourhoods, the small restaurants) and the vibe it gave out; Parisians have every right to be proud of their city :)
