Winter Wonderland!

Got back last week. Stayed in a secluded hotel on a frozen lake in a pine forest – a snow-covered one at that – simply beautiful. Had eight inches of snow while I was there, and this was in March! So I got really lucky. The region I stayed in was Moravia, and so lowland areas didn’t have as much snow.

Prague, Telc and Brno are wonderful cities, and well worth a visit – especially Prague! and the small villages you drive through are very pretty. The rolling countryside, I wouldn’t describe as beautiful, but it was nice, and interspersed by pockets of thick woodland.

Will definitely go back!
