Thats right, I was there for a little over 24 hours. I didn’t sleep the night before my flight because I had to drive to Orlando at 3 AM, my flight left at 7 AM. I met some kid on the plane, and we watched “The Hills Have Eyes,” which was a rather odd movie to be playing on an airplane. We arrived at the JFK and I got totaly lost trying to get to Fulton St. Luckily, I met up with a kid by the name of Sallassie at the subway. He showed me around, let me take a shower at his house, and gave me some energy pills. The real reason I was there was for a free music festival where one of my favorite bands would be playing, Dead Meadow. I painted a picture for them and I really wanted them to have it. Sadly, the festivle was pretty much canceled because it started pouring. Sal was gone, I was alone, with 1000$ in my pocket, some big baggy pants, and a bag with my camera, and a sweater in it. I had met up with the band and they remembered me from a Jacksonville show, so I bugged them a little, and ended up hanging out with them all night at a bar, where I repeatedly bought drinks for everyone and got so trashed I kept falling asleep (remember the only thing keeping me alive is starbucks and some pep pills) and talking in my sleep. Embarassing. I get so stupid and obnoxious when I’m drunk. They hooked me up with a couch to sleep on, Steve walked with me to get some new pants and shoes because mine were ruined from the night before. He hailed a cab for me, and I was off. When I got to Orlando my friends Caleb and Brittany were waiting for me, no one thought I’d make it back alive, but I did, so ha! Then we had IHOP, and went home so I could take a shower. The end.
