Indian Rocks Beach
Worth visiting!
On the Gulf Coast, in Pinellas County — 2 years ago
Indian Rocks Beach in the center of Pinellas County’s barrier island, between Clearwater Beach (to the North) and St. Pete Beach (to the South). Immediately to the West of the citys of Seminole and Largo, Indian Rocks Beach is a small town on a part of the island that is only a few hundred yards wide.
There are many of newer high-rise condo projects, and lots of million dollar homes, nestled in with much older condos and scattered single family homes. There is plenty of cool, white sandy beaches that meet the Gulf of Mexico and are maintained daily to post card standards.
There aren’t many chain restaurants or other big town amenities, but instead you’ll find a number of nice beach eateries for all budgets and tastes.
It is a perfect Florida Beach location, not too crowded, and not over commercialized, either.
