I lived there for almost five years when I was younger, and returned some years later for a visit. I absolutely love Tonga. You will never meet more friendly, generous and loving people anywhere in the world.
The islands are gorgeous. Small country, big-hearted people and a lot of wonderful things to experience that you can’t experience anywhere else in the world.
over 4 years agoI lived on the north Shore of Oahu for 9 years and loved every minute of it. The other islands are gorgeous, and worth visiting even more than Oahu, in my opinion. The greatest places on Oahu are the ones that no tourist really knows about, but a local would. Waikiki & Honolulu are fun, but not where I would recommend as far as places to see in Hawaii. There is so much more beauty to see and experience – just leave the cities!
