Roswell, New Mexico

Don't make a special trip...

…unless you’re really a die-hard alien fanatic. There’s not much to see besides the museum which is a minor curiousity, but not a big deal. If you’re in the area anyway it’s worth sticking your head in and checking it out, but that’s about it.

Beaver Creek, Colorado

Beaver Creek

Out of the many places my company sent me for business over the years, this was BY FAR my favorite. The resort is fantasic! Even in July, there was tons of stuff to do — horseback riding, hiking, mountain biking, rafting, you name it. The year-round ice rink is fantasic as is the fire pit every night. I was also lucky enough to be on the side of the resort that overlooked a fox den so I could hear them barking and playing all night long. Easily one of my most favorite places ever.

Sedona, Arizona

Sedona is definitely beautiful, and worth seeing. Pink Jeep tours are available, and I’ve heard they’re worth it though I’ve yet to take one. The city is expensive and very New-Agey, but worth a visit.
