I am not a Catholic, but my wife and I had attended a service here once and were deeply inspired by its magnificence. We spent a lot of time walking in and around the sanctuary and we couldn’t help but feel God’s presence as we fixed our eyes on the beautiful architecture. I experienced a great sense of peace, and I found it hard to leave. If possible, you should definitely go to a service. It was great listening to the music while gazing up at that beautiful ceiling. This will always be my favorite St. Paul attraction.

It’s all about the wildlife! My wife and I spent part of our honeymoon here last May and had a blast. There was an abundance of buffalo, antelope, and we even seen a bunch of wild donkeys! You might want to consider traveling the park in the spring before the tourist rush begins. The weather was great when we went and there were very few people on the road, so no RV’s blocking the beautiful view. Definitely worth visiting if you appreciate wildlife.

My wife and I were married in this magnificent place just last April. It is an exact replica of a church in Norway which is more than 850 years old. Amazing architecture, beautiful surroundings, and if your into history, Stavkirke Chapel is sure to please. It was fabulous, and I can only thank God for leading us to this extrordinary jewel nestled amongst the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota.
