What types of things should I bring

nothing much juz some of ur flips and and few more sun lotion.

Do they have electric converters or is this also something that I should bring (to charge my digital camera etc.)

Its 220V everywhere but you may get converter for 110v in some resorts

almost all the resorts got Uk based enough power plugs.
