Beautiful landscape, breathtaking scenery

I spent 2 years here, living all over the state from as far south as Girdwood to as far north as Delta Junction. Aurora borealis is quite an awesome spectacle, this alone made the trip worthwhile. I highly recommend visiting Wonder Lake at the base of Mt. McKinley. I was fortunate enough to be there on a clear day and the view of the mountain was spectacular. The fishing is top notch too. I hope to return someday!

Awesome Fresh Seafood!

Jumbo 4" shrimp for $6/pound! All kinds of fresh seafood, the fisherman come back daily with fantastic fish and shellfish. I ate like a king! (of course, my friends and I love to cook and prepared some great dishes)
