People throughout my school years have told me what a poverty-stricken and depressing place cuba cant be (outside of resorts) however when i talk to people from countries surroundling cuba, they have always said it to be a very friendly communal place. i would like to see communism in action, as well as see the way that these people live. i cant go on in life assuming what other people say is true, i need to see for myself!

we had a 24hour stop over in helsinki, ceratinly a night to remember, we stayed in a hostel ( my first time) and met some amazing people out on the street as well as bunking with us in the hostel. helsinki is a truely beautiful city and i can’t wait to go back.

i went with a group up here, one girl lived very lcose to me back home on toronto once we got to the top of one of the large foot hills we made a promise to come back one day, i sure hope we can keep it!

If i could, i think i would like to live in this place, how its a true community, it represents all the things i love, i hope it doesnt go away.

i want with a group that day, we drove out from santiago to valpraiso, it was fantastic! the view from all points was breath taking! we got robbed by gypsies, but it was so minor its just a good story now.

i LOVED Tivoli! we met up with some kids from the us who were also with CISV and we had an absolute blast, plus since it was Hans Christian Andersons 200th birthday there was a massive show on stage and in the crowd, they know how to party!
