We spent time here on our honeymoon and I loved it. The bungalows out over the water were awesome. We had a little octopus that lived in the shallow water right next to our bungalow and he was beautiful to watch.
The water there is so incredibly blue. The snorkeling was by far the best I’ve ever seen (compared with places like Hawaii, Cozumel, Jamaica, Grand Cayman).
The lifestyle over there is so relaxed
- really no worries.

The snorkeling was pretty good here, although I got nervous at the huge drop off into the deep blue. (I went before I was certified for Scuba) The beaches were beautiful.
We also visited “Hell” which I thought was pretty, geologically speaking.over 7 years ago
I had an okay time visiting here, but it was not one of my favorite places. The town does not have any particularly notable features and what other people wrote echoes my memories. There were a lot of poorer people hawking touristy stuff.over 7 years ago
It is amazing how this city continues to exist in the water. We went out to the island of Burano also which was sooooo pretty with its beautifully painted bright pastel houses and shops.
Venice was beautiful and romantic and we did not have nearly enough time to spend here.over 7 years ago
