Germany, Europe

Untitled

I lived in Germany/Austria for 11 months, and this was perhaps the greatest time of my life, being able to both travel across Europe and study at the University of Vienna. My German ancestry and desire for a minor in the language while in college lead me here, and I wish to return again soon…

Roma, Lazio

Ah - My Favorite European City

Rome is a fascinating place, blending the modern with the ancient, full of character and intrigue. I recommend visiting it in the cooler, less busy “offseason” when you don’t have to fight the crowds/heat quite so much. Rome wasn’t built in a day, nor can it be experienced satisfactorily in such a short amount of time. Plan on spending at least a few days taking in the breadth of its history, sights, and culture.

Wien, Austria

Gem City Bridging Eastern/Western Europe

Wien/Vienna is simply amazing. I threw in a picture of the Vienna Woods, but would like to add many more. Its vast musical history and sights including Schloss Schoenbrunn, the Hofburg, Stephansdom, or such natural attractions as the Danube or the woods surrounding the city make it a highly recommended destination!
