Half of my family lives in Minnesota, and the other half lives in North Carolina. It’s great fun to visit them and they live in a gorgeous state.

Sliding Rock is a great natural waterpark if you’re into that sort of thing.

I wanted to see Napoleon’s horse. And that wing of the museum was closed. I was incredibly disappointed that I could not go see Napoleon’s stuffed horse.

Invalides is sort of out-of-the-way, so you should only go if you’re REALLY interested in military history and seeing Napoleon’s tomb.

I visited the Lapin Agile with my school during a j-term trip. Our tour guide’s husband is actually one of the singers. This little cabaret house is unobtrusive and out of the way, but a must-see. Be prepared to stay up late, though. These guys will absolutely charm you as they sing the night away. I’ve never had so much fun, and their specialty drink (while very strong) is excellent.

This, for me, was the most beautiful place in Paris, and it has a great history. Do NOT let the street vendors stop you on your way up to the Basilique, though. They won’t let you go if you stop to listen.

I’m far more interested in sculpture than paintings, and they don’t have as many sculptures as I would like. It’s worth a visit, though, because the building itself is beautiful.

It’s a good stop if you’re seeing the sights. It’s also a long climb and you should be prepared for that. And, as with all highly-elevated places, make sure the weather is decent when you go. It’s not fun if it’s sleeting out.

Climb to the top. You will NOT be disappointed.

Paris is one of the most interesting, fun, fascinating, and culturally rich places I have ever been in my life. There are hundreds upon hundreds of things to explore and see. I definitely recommend visiting there at least once in your lifetime. And make sure you visit the 9th arrondissement. They have EXCELLENT restaurants—Jewish, Greek, Vietnamese, and more. It’s magnificent.

This street in Paris has a rich history and a wide variety of different shops and restaurants. It is definitely worth visiting if want to try fabulous cheeses, buy some nice wine, or stop at a pleasnt coffee shop. It’s great fun, and always bustling!
