I don’t know how to get here by public transportation, but I know you can… and do. The museum is free, but you have to pay for parking. It’s really cool though, and def. worth it! (especially if it’s free!)

Well… M. Vuong is a cool place by way of design and concept, but a lot of the chairs aren’t that comfortable. Sit outside in the summer if you can. The number of dishes on offer is limited, and there isn’t a huge difference in the types of choices available, but the tea and shakes are good… so for a trendy Berlin restaurant, it’s worth checking out. I don’t think I’ll ever be a regular though.

Horrible weather in the winter, but a nice little city none the less. Lots of students (there are two major universities here, plus a IEP (Sciences Po). Try the market at Place de Lices on Sundays, it’s fantatic. Get a gallette (buckwheat crepe) with a sausage and some mustard. Just the thing when you have been out partying the night before. In the summer there is a huge music festival called TransMusicales, which is totally worth going to. Lot’s of bands on their way up. The whole city parties!

There is a fantastic chocolate shop and cafe on the east side of Helmhotz Platz called Kakao. Big chocolate selection, also hand made stuff that they make there. The cafe is great too, with fantastic cakes!!!!

In the summer there are concerts and outdoor movies in the pool. You can’t take your own drinks in, but you can buy beer there. You can also play dodgeball and slip and slide with all the other hipsters. It’s a fun old time.
