Have spent my past 4 holidays in the Launceston area and it’s fantastic. Some may call it boring because there isn’t all that much to do after 4 two week holidays, but I just love its coast so much (crackington haven has to be one of the lovliest beaches around). There’s also a lot of great walking, a few small sights to see (don’t bother with the du Maurier museum unless you like reeally cheesy places though), and some great fish-eating to do in the area. The locals are really friendly, and have remembered us every year.

There’s also a lot of great walking, a few small sights to see (don’t bother with the du Maurier museum unless you like reeally cheesy places though), and great fish restuarants. The locals are really friendly, and have remembered us every year.

Although rather touristy, I loved this place – the food was great (just not at the hotel…) and the back streets colourful and friendly. It’s a few minutes walk from the coast which was pleasant, and the ice creams are to diiie for. Also has easy access to a lot of interesting sights, such as vesuvius and pompeii.

I love this place so much! The culture is really different to that of the UK, and I loved the way everyone was so much more relaxed about cycling everywhere, not the mention the festivals! there were a couple while we were there, and we had an amazing time getting drunk, singing, and sleeping under the stars! The weather was also beautiful, and there was plenty to do, at least for teenagers.

It was too long ago to remember much, though I can still remember the view from the eiffel tower!

So excited, I’m going to the Himalayas for 4 weeks in august with a group from school. we’re raising money for a school in Nepal, and trekking for 3 weeks. Also do a bit of sightseeing. Should be so good!
