Guam

Worth visiting!

It was such a tiny place but utterly beautiful! The people were friendly and outgoing, which is always nice. The humidity was intense. As soon as we arrived in Guam (I went with my father) my dad’s eye glasses fogged up immediately. It was so much that he couldn’t see. I thought it was funny, so I went to take a photo, but the camera fogged as well. It turned out to be a memorable photo.

Paris

Be warned . . . what people say about the French is true. I would have enjoyed the city and country so much more had people been willing to communicate in any way. At restaurants, in taxi cabs, at the hotels, everywhere . . . once I started to try to speak with someone, they would pretend they did not speak a word of English until it came time for payment, then they would suddenly become fluent. When I tried to ask basic questions or make requests in French, I was ignored. The only one person who was polite to us was not French; he was a taxicab driver from Australia I believe. But worth visiting nonetheless for the historical architecture and the experience of being in a new place.

The German people were incredibly polite and outgoing . . . a couple times I went out into the city and tried to buy different pastries or sundries, and several times people went out of their way to help me communicate what I needed or wanted. I thought the city was beautiful and I had a great time. Not to mention that it was my first international trip . . .

Awww, where I grew up . . .

So I had a good time there, living in the little tiny condo’s amidst the gigantic expensive houses . . . I’ll admit it . . .

Tokyo DisneySea Park

Worth visiting!

One of the most unique theme parks . . .

The theming was incredible, the cast members enthusiastic and polite and the merchandise fun and unique. The rides were few, but entertaining. I had a great time and hope to return and show my boyfriend around. =)

Disneyland Paris

Not worth visiting!

Indiana Jones rollercoaster!

My dad went to Germany for a business trip and took me along. As a surprise we took a train to Paris and stayed for a couple days at Disneyland. It was several years ago, so I’d have to consult pictures to completely remember everything, but I know that there were a lot more large open spaces than the original Disneyland, and the cast members kinda didn’t ‘get’ the whole Disney experience. Their Space Mountain was fascinating, as well as Phantom Manor. A lot of their rides were turned into roller coasters, which was very interesting. I would recommend going and seeing the park for a good experience, but of all the places I’ve been to, I wouldn’t choose it as a top favorite.
