I went here when visiting my stepdad’s parents in Arizona. We drove down to Nogalez in Mexico. I got a yin-yang necklace there for a dollar. His dad took us to eat at a resturant too. He ordered some sort of salad, and was displeased with the appearance of the slice of tomato that was served on it. He decided to call the waiter and he said to him, “This tomato looks like it was prepared last night! take this back and bring me a new one!”
I was frightened at the potential reaction his words might create, and I thought it was an incredibly foolhardy thing to do. Did he not realize I was only a 7-year-old? Was he trying to kill me? Then I thought perhaps he would only do something so stupid because he had a young child with him. Maybe I was just romanticizing the way I imagined a hostile attack as a reaction, but the situation did not bring good feelings.
