Kalbarri

Worth visiting!

Sandboarding and Horseriding

Kalbarri is a quaint little town. Everyone knows each other and are very friendly to the tourists who drop by during the holiday season. Everything is within walking distance, and there are always opportunities for the shopaholics to pick up a bargain whilst on a walk through the tiny mall.
Fishing is the main Kalbarri-an sport. You can see young kids to old grandpas fishing away in the beautiful waters. Drive an hour away, and you’ll hit the sand dunes. Beautiful chance to sandboard a little, but be sure to smack on some sunblock. Beautiful place, one that I’d look forward to go back to during the Easter break

Kings Park

Worth visiting!

Quack Quack

Beautiful King’s Park. A definite must for every pair of love bird. My friends and I term it the make-out hubba hubba spot. :) You can see the Perth city skyline at the peak.
The most memorable thing for me at the park so far, is the constant quacking of the ducks when Ben Folds was in concert last March 2005. They certainly made a great scene.

Cameron Highlands

Worth visiting!

beauty in a nutshell

I spent one whole month up in Cameron’s for bible school. The weather was simply amazing. Sweet strawberries, beautiful flowers and fresh, clean air. A far cry from the air anywhere else in Malaysia. A place definitely worth stopping by. Quaint and the locals are friendly. A must try food would be pancakes in Tanah Rata. Absolutely fabulous stuff. I am dying to get back there sometime soon.

Picturesque Freo

Freo is my absolute favourite place to go. It is abso-bloody-lutely beautiful place. Ok I am bias… I live only about ten minutes away from Freo. It has everything I want in it. And you can escape the hustle and bustle of Perth City and enter a peaceful, and pretty Freo. You can find anything in Freo, they have food ranging from Indian cuisine, Mexican Cuisine to Hungry Jacks (burger king) and Maccas (Mcdonald’s). They have boutiques as well as budget clothing stores. It caters to everyone from every race and of every income strata.
Be sure not to miss the weekend Freo Market, be sure to grab bargains. If you are ever in Perth, be sure to go into Freo.
