I remember this place when it was ‘Marriott’s Great America’. I came here all the time as a kid. So much fun and such happy memories of my youth!

A calm refuge in the middle of a big and loud city

I like this place for late night drinks and snacks. But be warned—the bathrooms are dirty!

Love the aquavit cocktails. And the steak tartare was delicious!

I think the one on Broadway in the 70s is less crowded.

Excellent show! Definitely a good choice if you want to see a Bangkok cabaret/drag show!

Our driver was supposed to bring us to Al Maha but he got confused and accidentally brought us to Bab Al Shams instead. I’m a big fan of Jumeirah properties, and to be fair I was at this property only for a brief tour, but I have to say that I think Al Maha is superior. But any time at all spent in the desert outside of Dubai is fantastic. Anyone who gets to go to either of the desert properties is lucky!
