Not worth visiting!
It’s a cool bridge and the tree walk is nifty, but there are so many other suspension bridges/parks in the area that are less travelled, don’t require an entrance fee, and also have actual hiking (Lynn Canyon). Good for families with kids I guess.

I grew up in BC, but moved to the US east coast for college and hadn’t been back until last year. Boy did I not realize how much I’d missed it. We only had one day on V. Island and that was not nearly enough time to soak in all the beauty. We did a day hike on the Juan de Fuca Marine Trail, and I’d love to go back to do the West Coast Trail. There’s something so peaceful about old growth forest.
I need to go back and do some diving.

I’ve been spoiled for life by the beauty of the area. Nothing has ever matched it, and I’ve been a lot of pretty places. Lake Louise is spectacular, but so is Emerald Lake, Lake Morraine, Bear Lake, Fernie, etc, and the Chateau at Lake Louise is definitely not worth the prices (very european rooms – tiny). So I guess my “worth visiting” refers to the Banff area as a whole as opposed to Lake Louise specifically. Great skiing, great hiking, great views, just a bit of a pain in the ass to get to.

I went over thanksgiving (US) holiday, and stayed at Sunset Waters Resort, and all-inclusive on the southwestern coast of the island. I cannot recommend Sunset Waters highly enough, the service there was phenomenal and the price was right.
The diving on the island is also some of the best in the world. I’d say similar to Bonaire, but the island itself is prettier. The beaches were uncrowded and the scenery…WOW. If you are a diver or a beach person, you’ve got to go.

The people at Cane Bay diving took wonderful care of our group. We did 15 dives in 6 days and had a blast. Not the best diving I’ve ever seen, not the cheapest island in the Caribbean, but accessible to the Northeast US and good people.
