Cologne has been able to sustain a kind of Bohemian-Village Character, which makes it very lovable IMHO. This is the Case in the University Section of Town around Zülpicher Str., Belgian Quarter, Südstadt (Severin Str). Many original Small Shops, eating Places, and Kneipen (Pubs) give the City a vibrant lively Spirit.

The first time I went to this place I was simply amazed. The Souks, the Market Square. It is, unexpectedly, very oriental.
