is procrastinating as we speak

right after college for 8 months. Hated the job, but LOVED Bonn. I hope to move back someday.
Not many tourists – not much of a tourist town, really, but a great place to live.

Because I’m American, and it seems silly never to have been to Canada. I’d really like to go to hear the Biddles in Montreal. sigh

I’m kind of on a mission to follow one of the hosts of the old Lonely Planet tv show around the world (Ian Wright, I think his name was). I really liked his Mongolia show.

I served in the Peace Corps in Mali. People always ask me how I liked Malawi. I’d like to be able to give them an answer. Same goes for Maui. I made it to Bali this year, though…

I arrived with a friend quite late at night by train from London. His mother picked us up and drove us home across dark fields. I slept in his sister’s room, and when I woke up and went to open the curtains to the view, I nearly cried it was so beautiful. I’ve travelled far and wide, and seen some amazing places, but something about this country makes me tingle.

I stayed on Gili Air, and visited Meno briefly. This was one of the most breathtakingly gorgeous places I have ever been in my life.

I served in the Peace Corps in Mali for 2 years. It changed my life and I will always be grateful to this wonderful country and its wonderful people. Mali, tu me manques beaucoup.
