Mackenzie was a great place to bring up kids… and if you like fishing, hunting and cross country skiing – it is tops! Just bring lots of muskol for the summer months…..

A review of this place: Swimming in the snow....

As a teenager, one of the highlights of the Christmas season was a trip to Fairmont Hot Springs sometime during the holidays… dashing in swimsuit through the falling snow to jump into the warm pool… what fun we had! The contrast of cold air and hot water was invigorating, and the stop at the little chalet near Canal Flats for a drink by the fireplace on the way home made the outing perfect.
