Indian Cliffs Ranch

Worth visiting!

A review of this place: Indian Cliffs Ranch is a Must-See If in El Paso

Indian Cliffs Ranch, east El Paso in Fabens is a great place to visit where there is a lot to see and experience. They have something for everyone. The best way to see the desert is on one of its hayrides. To top of the day, make sure you get your name in for a reservation at the Cattleman’s Steakhouse located on the ranch. Great steaks and a beautiful setting to be eating and drinking as the sun sets for a spectacular sunset.

Crater Of Diamonds State Park

Worth visiting!

This is a lot of fun. If you find a diamond, you get to keep it. The area is now operated by the Arkansas State Parks system.

Nob Hill

Worth visiting!

Great stores. Great restaurants and sidewalk cafes. You can spend all day. Take the street car from downtown on 10th Avenue and wind your way up to Nob Hill.

Boston Mountains

Worth visiting!

The Boston Mountains of Arkansas

The Boston Mountains in northwest Arkansas are just beautiful. They are a part of the Ozark Plauteau that pushes upward into beautiful mountain ranges. The best time to go is in the Autumn when the leaves turn beautiful shades of oranges, yellows, and reds. While it is true that almost every hill in Arkansas is called a mountain, this area has some true mountains. I would recommend it highly.

Juarez

Worth visiting!

Juarez - Two Extremes

Juarez has two extremes, as does most Mexico. The very, very poor who live in horrid conditions and the very wealthy who live very well. I would recommend staying away from Juarez Avenue (the strip) as I am not too sure it is all that safe now, but east Juarez where the Chamizal Park and the shopping malls and country club is quite nice.

It is a beautiful area and well worth the visit. It is the tallest mountain in Arkansas, rising up to almost 3,000 feet.
